Nissan India has come up with its new sedan Sunny. It is based on its hatchback model Micra. It was launched at the 8th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition in December 2010. It is expected to be available in India by January 2012 probably at the Auto Expo in New Delhi in both petrol and diesel variant. It will come in three variants namely Nissan Sunny Petrol XE, Nissan Sunny Petrol XL and Nissan Sunny Petrol XV.

South Korean car company Hyundai has come up with its new small car ‘EON’ in India. It has been developed in India and will be manufactured only in India. It comes in six variants namely Hyundai Eon D-Lite, Hyundai Eon D-Lite (O), Hyundai Eon Era, Hyundai Eon Magna, Hyundai Eon Magna (O) and Hyundai Eon Sportz. It is priced competitively to stand out in the small car segment in India.

Mahindra and Mahindra has come with its D-segment SUV called XUV500. It is going to be produced at Mahindra’s plant at Chakan. It has taken a lot of hard work in developing this SUV from Mahindra. It has been tested over 2.35 mn kms and around 250 prototypes have been built. It is the new generation SUV, which has been conceptualized to create a new category between the Scorpio and high end SUVs. It comes in three variants namely called Mahindra XUV500 W6 4×2, Mahindra XUV500 W8 4×2 and Mahindra XUV500 W8 4×4.
